Lots of sunshine year round. Some say, this is one of the best locations on Turneffe Island.

Ropewalk Caye is a small caye which belongs to a group of cayes called Turneffe Island, located off the coast of mainland Belize.

The southeast quadrant of Turneffe Island, where Ropewalk Caye is located, gives easy access to the famous 'Blue Hole', attracting scuba divers from all over the globe.  The Turneffe group of cayes is positioned just outside the second largest barrier reef in the world and is protected by its own reef that encircles Turneffe Island. This reef breaks the waves creating a wonderful, calm beach.  This area has yet to be commercialized so it has maintained its natural beauty.
